Well, after a long (political burnout induced) hiatus I'm back on here to say that I've figured out the name for my campaign setting. I'm going to call it The Forever Seas setting. It's tons of oceans, and they go on forever, get it!?! Oh em gee, I am such a genius!
I also finally discovered Obsidian Portal. Get to use tools like Google Maps intefaces for campaign maps and a Wiki that has two levels of information, General and DM-eyes only. All to help you replace your spiral notebooks with easily accessible information. For a guy who is planning on using Skype and rollD20.net for his campaign this will make everything easily accessible for players.
There are other neat features too, like a forum, an adventure log, a charachter section that can include the PCs and any regional NPCs of importance, and an entire section dedicated to party loot. It is a very powerful tool and the best part is that it's free to use.
I may decide in the future to turn to the subscription based service for it that lets me customize the look and adds in a few additional tools (including the ability to make your Wiki an Invite-only instead of publicly accessible site).
